Our History & Heritage
Founded on 30th January 1913, Ranaghat People's Co-operative Bank Ltd. has been serving the people of Ranaghat and Nadia district for more than a century. Established under the visionary leadership of Late Nagendranath Palchowdhury, President, and Late Harendra Krishna Dey Chowdhury, Secretary, the Bank was created with a mission to promote financial cooperation, economic progress, and community welfare.
Registered under Registration No. 1 dated 30.01.1913 and presently governed by the West Bengal Co-operative Societies Act, 2006, the Bank has built a strong reputation based on trust, stability, and responsible banking practices.
For over 100 years, Ranaghat People's Co-operative Bank Ltd. has played a significant role in supporting the economic development of the local community.
